There is a few books that are coming out in late May through June that I’m excited about so I figured I would share them with you. I will include release dates, why I am excited, and links to every book mentioned in this post. Majority of the books I’m waiting for are being released in fall so expect a giant post closer to Fall.

  • When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon – May 30th – Whoa this book has been everywhere since bloggers have been getting their hands on ARC of the book. I mean I have seen so many people talking about it throughout the months so this book is definitely hyped up for me. I think that is the main reason why I want to pick it up plus I have never really read any books that focus on Indian culture.
  • Star Lord : Grounded by Chip Zdarsky and Kris Anka – June 20th – Let’s ignore the fact that I didn’t put them in the right order in the graphic. I am a huge guardians of the galaxy fan. Star Lord is one of my favorite characters from the series. I have read quite a bit from the comics so I am curious to see where this series goes. The art style is definitely different than the guardians of the galaxy series I read so I’m excited.
  • The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee – June 27th – It’s a historical fiction novel dealing with LGBT aspects so yes please sign me up for this book. I need it in my life. Someone told me it’s like Simon vs The Homo Sapien’s Agenda meets historical fiction which is enough for me to be interested. I have high hopes for this novel as well.

Do you have any summer releases you are excited about? Please share them with me because I’m nosy and like knowing what everyone else is excited for!

      1. My library is pretty good about that. If they have copies on order they’ll let people start putting holds on them. Therefore, I probably won’t be getting my hands on A Court of Wings and Ruin until December hahaha

      2. Oh my god that’s a lot of people. They only got one copy in at my local library so that’s why it was a long queue. I recently requested another library (I live in two places because of school) to purchase the book so here’s to hoping they agree to buy it!
