The Netflix Book Tag

I was tagged by the lovely Ellie @ coffeewithellieblog to do this tag. The original tag was made by A Darker Shade of Whitney on youtube.

Recently Watched: The last book you finished reading

The last book I read was I Am Princess X by Cherie Priest which I have a review up here if you want to check it out. The book wasn’t amazing, but it was an enjoyable read. I think it’s the perfect beach day read since it was so quick.

Top Picks: A book/books that have been recommended to you based on book you have previously read

I have been recommended both books by various people. I currently own a copy of Americanah so I aim to read it soon.

Recently Added: The last book you bought

Popular on Netflix: Book that everyone knows about

I feel like everyone and their momma knows about Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. I think that is one of the main reasons why I haven’t picked the book up yet. It’s over-hyped in my opinion.

Comedies: A funny book

Lumberjanes is hand downs one of the funniest graphic novel series that I have had the pleasure of reading thus far. Every time a new graphic novel comes out for the series I am always really happy. It’s such a fun yet light read.

Drama: a character that is a drama queen or king

It has to be Percy Jackson from PJO series because he has so many moments where I wanted to smack with the book. He isn’t a bad character by any means, but he is a MAJOR drama  queen.

Animated: a book with cartoons on the cover

Nimona by Noelle Stevenson which I highly recommend if you haven’t checked it out yet. It’s a really fun story that keeps you hooked until the end.

Watch again: A book or series you would read again

It would probably be the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series simply because it was the series that got me back into reading when I was a kid.

Documentaries: a non fiction book you would recommend to everyone

I would recommend Almost Adulting by Arden Rose because it’s a quirky little novel that makes you feel less alone in the world. She reminds you that it’s okay to dread being an adult.

Action and adventure: a book that is action packed

I would have to say Ahsoka by E.K. Johnson because throughout the first half of the book so much has happened. It’s definitely a whirlwind of a book, but it is definitely worth the read.

New releases: a book that just come out or a book about to come out that you cant wait to read

Hmmm as of right now I’m really looking forward to getting my hands on The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice & Virtue by Mackenzi Lee.

I hope you guys enjoyed this tag. I want to thank Ellie for tagging me to do it! I am not going to tag anyone this time around, but if you want to do it tag me so I can read it!
