Down The TBR Hole #2

The meme was created by Lia @ Lost in a Story so be sure to click the link so you can follow her. You basically go through your list of TBR books and read the synopsis for each one. You can either keep it or deny it. I honestly get “Should I Stay or Should I Go” by the Clash vibes.

What To Do

  • Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
  • Order on ascending date added.
  • Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
  • Read the synopses of the books
  • Decide: keep it or should it go?

THE VICTIMS (I MEAN BOOKS)

  • Inferno by Dan Brown – Boy if any of you who have known me for a long time may know my obsession with Dan Brown. I got this book when it first came out. The problem is I keep starting it and then putting it down because of life. I don’t really need to read the synopsis for this one because it is one I am still interested in; Final Verdict : KEEP
  • Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo – I’m not sure about this one. Shadow and Bone wasn’t amazing for me. I enjoyed it, but it didn’t leave a long time impression on me. I might check this book out from the library from some point, but I think I’m going to give up on this one for now; Final Verdict : GO
  • Ready Player One by Ernest Cline – This is another book that has been on my tbr shelf for ages. Life keeps getting in the way every time I try to pick it up. I re-read the synopsis and I think I am going to give it another shot once I get my copy back from the voids of moving; Final Verdict : KEEP
  • Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige – Oh man this has been on my shelf since it first came out. I picked it up when I was in San Diego with my dad so it’s been a while. I just love the idea of a dark re-telling of The Wizard of Oz so I am going to give this book a shot; Final Verdict : KEEP
  • White Cat by Holly Black – I don’t need to read the synopsis for this one because I just remembered I got rid of it last month before I moved down to Florida for the summer; Final Verdict : GO

Have any of you read these books? Do you recommend any that I should read right away?

  1. I feel like the Grisha trilogy really got better after the first book. It didn’t make a huge impression on me and it took me months to finally pick up the second book, but once I did I finished the entire series in quite a short time. So I would recommend reading it (you don’t have to if you don’t want to though :P). I haven’t read the other books.

  2. Aww noooo, I’m sad to see Siege and Storm go! I actually loved the Grisha trilogy and I literally binge-read the entire series in like a week! It lured me in and I was so immersed in the story and I loved the characters! 😍 but if you’re not interested then don’t force yourself to read it! I’ve seen other people who didn’t like it and stopped reading the series as well!
