June Book Haul

img_4719You might remember that June was my birthday month which means I went a bit crazy buying books. I tend to stray from buying a ton of books while I’m in college because I never know if I’ll have time to read them. Summer rolled around with all the new releases so I went a bit crazy. I always went on a trip to Utah so I had to check out the bookstores there as well. I am not going to go into detail about any of the books simply because I have quite a few to get through.

I am going to start off with the books I bought during the month of July. I bought City of Lost Souls, City of Heavenly Fire, Lord of Shadows, and Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy. I went on a bit of a Cassandra Clare binge during the month of June. I honestly don’t have any regrets because I already own Lady Midnight plus I’m collecting the rest of the TMI series in the new covers.

I also bought Crazy House by James Patterson and House of Furies by Madeline Roux. I was too lazy to go downstairs to grab them for a photo. I got the special edition of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone in the Slytherin house. I got so excited that I had to order one right away. It felt like it took ages to arrive. The Invisible Man, The Name of the Wind, and Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell were all books I bought on my trip to Utah.

Alright, we are now getting into the last part of this book haul. These are all gifts from people for my birthday. We are Okay by Nina LaCour was gifted to me by one of my best friends on tumblr. It honestly warmed my heart so much when I saw the book in the post. I wasn’t expecting any physical books to come in from my birthday so I really appreciate it. The last few books I have to talk about are all ebook gifts. I received Locked by Eva Morgan which I already have a review up so please be sure to check it out. I received The Emperor’s Soul, Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell, and Sixth of the Dusk by Brandon Sanderson from one of my friends on a book discord server I’m on.

That is all the books I got in the month of June. I already have a few that is supposed to arrive in July so I will either make a July book haul or mention them throughout the month. What books did you get in the month of June?
