How do I express my love for this manga without writing a full novel about it? I picked this up on a whim because over the past year I have fallen out of love with manga and anime. I think it’s because I have been so set on college, moving, and all the crazy things life throws at us. I honestly loved this little manga because it was everything I wasn’t expecting. I expected there to be a lot of darkness, confusion, and intrigue which there was intertwined with cute little moments.
I love the dynamic between the little girl and the creature. There’s a definite father/daughter relationship between the two especially since the little girl was just dumped on the other side. The ending of this ended in such a massive cliffhanger. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next volume to know what happens. There is some violent scenes throughout the manga so if that is something that may bother you…I do not recommend it.
Rating: 4.5/5 Stars Read: June 1st – 2nd
Genre: Manga & Fantasy
In a land far away, there were two kingdoms: the Outside, where twisted beasts roamed that could curse with a touch, and the Inside, where humans lived in safety and peace. The girl and the beast should never have met, but when they do, a quiet fairytale begins.
This is a story of two people–one human, one inhuman–who linger in the hazy twilight that separates night from day.
